Partner Portal

The Partner Portal is part of the Admin Portal. It lets PubNub partners create customer entries (end customers) and assign PubNub keysets. This speeds setup and control. Partners can also create Illuminate resources for end customers on assigned keysets.

End customers use partner‑managed dashboards. They can use PubNub Illuminate for specific PubNub apps and keysets in two ways:

To request access to Partner Portal, contact PubNub Support.

Customers

Create end customers in the Admin Portal. Assign PubNub apps and keysets to control access.

To set this up, follow these steps:

  1. Create an entry for your end customer.

    Assign a unique name. Add the end customer’s external ID to link the Admin Portal and your dashboard.

  2. Assign a PubNub app to the end customer.

    Assignment and management rules

    You can assign one end customer to many apps and keysets. Each keyset is assigned to one end customer. You can't delete an end customer in the Admin Portal. To remove access, disable that customer’s keysets.

App Management

Use App Management to create PubNub apps for end customers. Manage them in one place.

You can also see which end customers each app is assigned to.

Embed

After you grant access, end customers can embed the Illuminate UI in their admin dashboard and create Illuminate objects for assigned apps and keysets.
